After completing his training, he got a few good years of proper stage acting under his belt, but was then waylaid by the excitement of stand up comedy. He still loves acting, and recently played the hero of CBBC's Mission 2110.
Frankly, after running around a bunch of ships in a Scottish loch, pretending to be the last human being alive and bashing 9 foot tall evil robots, you're going to have to come up with something pretty awesome to tempt him back to the stage...
Something like playing the Doctor in "Dr Who".
